The role includes both data entry and transcription. Depending on the project you’re assigned to, you might be entering information into company systems, transcribing audio recordings into written documents, organizing digital files, and helping keep business records accurate. We are looking for experienced candidates as well as freshers.

Job responsibility

Daily activities of a Data Entry & Transcription Specialist may include:

• Input data into spreadsheets, company databases and systems accurately.
• Create clear, written transcripts of audio or video recordings.
• Check completed work for spelling, formatting and data accuracy.
• Correct errors before submitting final files.
• Arrange digital files and keep proper file management.
• Update and categorize information in accordance with company procedures.
• Help with data cleaning and record keeping activities.
• Protect business information.
• Finish all tasks assigned by deadlines.
• Talk to supervisors or team members when you need clarification.

What skills do you need?

The company is looking for people who can work in a meticulous manner and maintain a high degree of accuracy.

Applicants must have:

• Good English, written and spoken.
• Good typing speed of at least 50 words per minute and good accuracy.
• Good listening and understanding skills.
• Computer knowledge (basic)
• Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Workspace.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently at home.

Experience with transcription software such as Otter.ai or Express Scribe would be an advantage but is not essential.

Hours of Work

There are full-time and part-time opportunities.

The working hours are flexible, as long as the work assigned is completed within the agreed deadlines.

Candidates should also be available to attend scheduled virtual meetings.
